These leaves allow Hoya macrophylla variegata to retain water, meaning it can go for longer period of times in-between watering than some other plants. CARE TIPS:

Light: Hoya macrophylla variegata does best in bright indirect light. While it may be grown in medium indirect light it will likely never flower and you run the risk of your plant producing all green leaves.

Water: You should allow Hoya macrophylla variegata to go almost completely dry in-between watering. How often you will need to water will be dependent on how much light your plant is getting. Plants grown in bright indirect light will need to be watered more frequently than those in lower light.
