Philodendron erubescens 'Red Emerald' has lovely oblong leaves with striking red petioles (stems) that come in a light lime green and harden off to a deep green. An eager climber, as it matures this species will develop larger leaves if given a moss pole, plank, or other structure to climb.
Place in pot with drainage. Water when soil is dry in the top 1/3 in warmer months, or top 1/2 to 2/3 in cooler months.
Bright indirect light. Will turn greener in inadequate light.
As with all broad leaves plants, give occasional shower or wipe down with a damp cloth to remove dust from leaves.

IMPORTANT NOTES ON PLANT SHIPPING:
We try to ensure that plant product photos resemble an average specimen of the individual species. Actual plant shipped may be slightly different in size, shape, or specific color/variegation. Any major differences will be noted in the product description.
Please note: we only ship plants WED & THURS each week, in order to ensure plants aren't sitting in hot/cold trucks over the weekend, so any orders placed after 3pm on THURS will not ship until the following WED.
