Curious about reducing your environmental footprint, but not sure where to start? What better way to start the New Year, then by learning some steps to shift to a low waste lifestyle. Join us as our friend Cindy Villaseñor talks us through simple changes we can make in our lifestyles to reduce our environmental impact, as well as tips on overcoming “perfection paralysis” on the low-waste journey. Cindy's talk will conclude with a Q&A session.

Cindy Villaseñor is a Garden Teacher for non-profit, Enrich LA . She practices a low-waste lifestyle with her husband from the home she's curated with secondhand pieces, to her everyday life, including in her garden lessons where she teaches about composting, plastic pollution and zero-waste living. She hopes to inspire both through her work with her students, as well in her social media presence. She knows that zero-waste is not perfect, but believes we can all make a difference by trying our best in living a low-impact lifestyle.

Cindy's talk is FREE of charge as part of Folia's commitment to growing a more sustainable future for everyone in our community. RSVP's are required though, as space is limited.
