Kokedama (苔玉) which translates from Japanese to English as "moss ball", is a Japanese garden art that involves growing plants from a ball made of soil, wrapped in moss and bound with twine/wire/filament.
Come learn our take on Kokedama with our own head Kokedama specialist, Bill Horst. Bill will go over the process of creating a Kokedama, as well as how to care for plants grown this way; then you'll get to work creating your own!
Supplies + a 4" plant for one Kokedama are included in the cost of the workshop. Additional supplies + plants will be available for purchase as well.
PLEASE NOTE: ever-changing Covid-19 related restrictions may affect events at Folia, including mask requirements and even cancellation. We will do our best to give as much notice as possible for changes like this, and in the event of cancellation, full refunds will be issued.
