*Brass is a base metal that will darken over time. Some like the patina that develops as they age, but they can also be kept bright with a polishing cloth. Please note that some people with skin sensitivities may have skin reactions to these metals.
*14k gold fill means there is a thick layer of solid gold on the outside, bonded over the interior metal. It is much higher in quality than gold plated metal and it will not tarnish. Please note that these fine metals are generally more suitable for those with skin sensitivities and most will not have skin reactions, but some may.
