With longer and broader leaves than carnosa, the less common Hoya pubicalyx is a quick climber and grows faster than many other Hoyas as well!
Like other Hoyas, pubicalyx produces blooms that appear as though they are made of porcelain and are deep burgundy in color.
Place in pot with drainage. Allow to dry out between waterings. When leaves begin to pucker, it’s time to water.
Bright indirect light. Can adapt to medium light, though blooms will not develop in medium light.
This species will climb if given something to grab onto. To encourage blooms, allow to become slightly root bound.
We try to ensure that plant product photos resemble an average specimen of the individual species. Actual plant shipped may be slightly different in size, shape, or specific color/variegation. Any major differences will be noted in the product description.
