AKA 'Pitcher Plant'
Place in pot with drainage. Keep soil evenly moist, ensure it’s not sitting in excess water. Distilled water may be best, though Nepenthes are usually also tolerant of tap water.
Direct sun for part of the day, bright indirect light for the rest of the day. Avoid cold temps.
Nepenthes are a carnivorous plant, meaning they lure and trap insects in their deep ‘pitchers, using a secretion to 'digest' the insect (or sometimes small rodents in certain large, species). Keep pitchers 1/2 full of water to prevent them from dying off too soon. Some added humidity may be helpful to keep plants happiest.
