We think it's pretty hard to pass up the velvety leaves on Philodendron micans. Philodendron micans is very similar to Philodendron hederaceum, or Heart Leaf Philodendron, which you may be more familiar with. Philodendron micans is often sold as a hanging plant and grows beautifully that way, it grows quickly and before you know it you'll have a cascading plant! Philodendron micans will also readily climb a moss pole. Unlike some other velvety Philodendrons, Philodendron micans is versatile and easy going. It's a great choice for beginners looking for something a little flashy, or experienced plant parents who don't want a plant that's going to take up a lot of their time. Did you know? If you choose to grow you Philodendron micans up a moss pole you may find over time that your plant will produce larger leaves!
