If you want an easy going plant that's a little more interesting than your typical snake plant then look no further! This is Sansevieria trifasciata 'Bantel's Sensation', a striking cultivar of  Sansevieria trifasciata. We love this cultivar for its beautiful variegated and interesting, thin leaves. Snake plants are often thought of as unkillable plants that don't need any sort of care. While they're certainly tought plants that grow in a wide range of conditions, they are not completely indestructible. Any plant, no matter how easy they are, still needs light and water to survive. While Sansevieria trifasciata 'Bantel's Sensation' may not survive in a windowless room, that doesn't mean it's not an easy plant! Sansevieria trifasciata 'Bantel's Sensation' requires a little bit different care than some other Sansevieria, and we've got all of the info here you'll need to set you up for success!

CARE TIPS:

Light: Sansevieria are known for being plants that can withstand low light conditions. Sansevieria trifasciata 'Bantel's Sensation' is a little different. To maintain its variegation Sansevieria trifasciata 'Bantel's Sensation' should be grown in medium to bright indirect light. Be sure to keep your plant out of any direct sun though, as the white segments of the leaf are delicate and will burn. 

Water: Sansevieria trifasciata 'Bantel's Sensation', like other Sansevieria, wants to go completely dry in-between watering. Make sure your plant is potted in a well draining mix, a succulent mix is a great choice.

Did you know? Sansevieria was recently reclassified into the genus Dracaena. Don't worry though, Sansevieria is still a recognized synonym!
