CARE TIPS:

Light: No doubt you've seen Sansevieria on some list of plants that can survive in a windowless room. While Sansevieria tend to be more tolerant of lower light situations, they do still need light to survive. Keep your Sansevieria trifasciata 'Moonshine' in medium, to bright indirect light. Like other Sansevieria they can tolerate low light, but if you want to maintain their light coloring brighter light is needed.

Water: Allow your Sansevieria trifasciata 'Moonshine' to go almost completely dry in-between watering. These plants are native to regions in Africa where they go for long periods without water. To ensure your Sansevieria is not sitting in soggy soil pot it in a well draining mix and into a pot with drainage. When you water make sure to thoroughly soak your soil and dump any excess water if your plant is resting in a saucer.

Did you know? Sansevieria have very thick, tuberous root systems. These thick roots have been known to break terra cotta pots!
