AKA the 'Swiss Cheese Vine', Monstera adansonii produces vines with fenestrated (the term for the holes that form on the leaves of plants like Monsteras) leaves and aerial roots. Leaves take on their larger, more fenestrated, mature form when the plant is given a moss pole or plank to climb (see last photo for an example of a semi-mature we had in the shop last year).Monstera adansonii CARE:
Bright indirect light. May tolerate medium light but leaves will be much smaller, and there will be more space between them on the vine.
Place in pot with drainage. Water when top 1/3 of soil has dried out. Water less in winter.
Over time, Monsteras do best with something to climb on in order to develop more mature foliage. M. adansonii often look their best with a little added humidity.
