We cannot get enough of the beautiful color of Peperomia caperata 'Apricot'! This is a cultivar of Peperomia caperata grown for its amazing pink and peachy leaves. You may be familiar with Peperomia caperata, this is a species grown widely in cultivation with numerous cultivars! Peperomia caperata is native to Brazil, where like many other Peperomia it grows epiphytically in shaded and humid rainforests. While Peperomia is often recommended for beginner plant enthusiats, Peperomia caperata can prove to be vexing for first time plant parents. Unlike its easy going relatives Peperomia obtusifolia or clusiifolia, Peperomia caperata can be finicky. Cultivars like Peperomia caperata 'Apricot', with its bright variegated color, can add another layer of intricacy to the care for these plants as well. While Peperomia caperata 'Apricot' may be a little more needy than some other plants it is by no means an impossible plant to keep! HOW TO CARE FOR PEPEROMIA CAPERATA 'APRICOT':

Light Requirements: Peperomia caperata 'Apricot' should be grown in bright indirect light to preserve its striking color. If grown in lower light conditions you may notice your plant become less bright over time, or even lose its variegated pink color completely.

Water Tips for Peperomia caperata 'Apricot': Peperomia caperata 'Apricot' doesn't like to sit in wet soil, but it also doesn't want to be left completely dry for any length of time. Water your plant when about 3/4ths of the soil has gone dry. A moisture meter is a great companion tool for this plant!
