Always a favorite for us, Peperomia deppeana x quadrifolia 'Hope' (Peperomia 'Hope' for short) sports thick round leaves with a subtle stripe pattern and reddish stems. This hybrid Peperomia will trail as it grows larger (last photo of an older, 6" plant, is for reference of future appearance).

*NOTE: BECAUSE OF ITS STRUCTURE, THIS PLANT TENDS TO LOSE LEAVES EASILY, SOME LEAF LOSS DURING SHIPPING IS NORMAL AND TO BE EXPECTED.

Peperomia deppeana x quadrifolia 'Hope' CARE:

Bright indirect light. Avoid direct sun. If there are large spaces between the leaves on the vines or leaves are coming in very small, the plant likely needs more light.

Place in pot with drainage. Water when soil has almost totally dried out (all the way to the bottom). Water less in cooler months. Avoid keeping soil overly moist. Bottom watering works best for this species.

This plant has shallow roots and does best without excessive space, the pot should never be more than 2” bigger than the root ball.

Find our full care guide in the PLANT CARE COMPENDIUM.
