This is a plant well adapted for dry, arid conditions. Xerosicyos danguyi has thick, succulent leaves that store water and help it to survive in the deserts of its native habitat. This is a tough plant that doesn't want to be grown in soggy soil. Your Xerosicyos danguyi will do best planted in well draining soil, such as a succulent or cacti mix. In your home Xerosicyos danguyi will appreciate being grown in very bright indirect light or even direct sun. If you have an area of your home that is hot and burns every other plant Xerosicyos danguyi will thrive there! CARE TIPS:

If grown outdoors your Xerosicyos danguyi will appreciate an area where it gets afternoon shade, as this will help to prevent sunburn.
